Project Scope of Work

The City of St. James hired Schwickert’s for a project involving both roofing and architectural metals. The goal was to revitalize an older building and match it with a newly constructed adjacent building.

The metals project featured the installation of MetalSales Classic Rib panels in a White finish to brighten the interior of the shop and garage areas. For the exterior, Taupe and Fern Green panels were mounted with galvanized z-furring, increasing the insulation’s R-value. This work was completed over the winter months to ensure the shop and garage were fully functional before the busy season.

The roofing project involved a full tear-off on the north roof. The middle roof was able to retain its insulation, while the south roof required a full tear-off due to storm damage. Schwickert’s team installed a new fully adhered EPDM roof. These combined efforts ensured the building is well insulated,
durable, and visually appealing. It is now ready to serve the City of St. James effectively.
